font-family: 'ARECIBO MESSAGE', sans-serif;
This pixelated typeface is based on the binary encoding system of the Arecibo Message sent to the globular star cluster M13 on 16th November 1974 to mark the remodeling of the Arecibo radio telescope in Puerto Rico. The capital letters are based on a 10 x 10 grid used to represent the average height of an adult male, the lowercase are larger 5 x 5 blocks just to add clarity to the glyphs. The decimal numbers from 1 to 10 as all glyph's appear in binary format.The original radio message transmitted at a frequency of 2,380 MHz was broken down into seven categories:Decimal Numbers;DNA Elements;Nucleotides;Double helix;Humantity; Planets;Telescope.
